UGC NET 2018
UGC NET 2018 provides opportunity to candidates who want to make their career in the field of education. The National Eligibility Test (NET) has been conducted by CBSE board under the University Grants Commission (UGC). Students of India can take part in Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor Programme conducted by UGC NET. Students of Junior Research Fellowship are allowed to carry on research in their PG subject from IITs or other national institutions.
The exam is organized twice in a year that is in the month of January and July.Candidates who have cleared CBSE UGC NET are permitted to apply for the post of Assistant professor. There is a procedure that is need to followed, the first one is to fill the form.
Application Form for UGC NET 2018
Candidates can fill the application form in the third week of October 2017. Students can fill the form till the last week of November 2017. If anyone submits the form after the due date then it will be rejected. The correction facility will be provided for the candidates in UGC NET application form. Candidates will only get one week time for the correction. There is no need to send any confirmation page to the authority office.
One point that candidate should keep in mind before paying the fee is that the fees will not be given back in any case. Students can complete the payment procedure with the help of credit/ debit card or e-Challan. Cash payment has to be done in Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank if anyone wants to do the payment through e-Challan. General category students has to pay Rs 600/- whereas OBC-NCL and SC/ST/PwD has to pay Rs. 300/- and Rs. 150/-
Candidates who want to apply for the exam should read the eligibility criteria carefully. Students who want to be part of Junior Research Fellowship the upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st January 2018. The applicants of the reserved category will get the relaxation of five years. The candidates must have cleared the Master’s degree or equivalent from UGC renowned Universities/Institutions. Candidate must have scored minimum 55% marks in post graduate whereas reserved category students have given 5% relaxation. Candidates who still have to give their final semester exam of the Master’s degree can also apply.
CBSE UGC NET Admit Card 2018
After completing the procedure of filling the form online the applicants can get their admit card. By visiting the official website of CBSE/UGC, the applicants can receive their admit card.
Note- please don’t forget to carry your admit card at the examination centre. If anyone fails to show the admit card he/ she will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
