IIST 2018 admission application form will be filled online only. No offline application form will be available. Candidates will get admission inUG courses on the basis of JEE Main & Advanced 2018 score. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), is a government assisted institute and deemed university for the study and research of space science. IIST aims to provide quality education in the field of space sciences, space technology and space applications. If candidates want to become part of this institute then he/she should clear the JEE Main 2018 & JEE Advanced 2018 examination. CBSE conducts the JEE Main 2018 & JEE Advanced 2018 examination.
IIST Application Form 2018
Applicants who are waiting to fill IIST Application Form 2018 can follow this procedure.
By visiting the website the IIST application form can be filled. Only online option is available to fill the form. The Application form for the candidates will be available from 4th week of May 2018 (for UG courses) and 2nd week of April 2018 (for PG courses). Information such as personal, academic, communication, JEE Advanced examination should be filled carefully. The scanned images of photograph, signature, medical certificate (PwD candidate) and cast certificate (if applicable) should be kept ready in advance so that they can be uploaded on time. With the help of bank Challan of SBI or Union Bank of India the payment of the fee can be done easily. Candidates should upload the scanned image of Challan payment. Don’t forget to take print of the application form for future use.
For UG courses-:
- General category candidates have to pay 250/- per departmental code and SC/ST/PWD and Women have to pay Rs. 125/-.
For PG courses-:
- Male applicants of GEN/OBC should pay Rs. 600/. Female applicants of GEN/OBC, SC, ST & PwD candidates must pay Rs. 300/-.
Candidates can do the payment of the fee through bank Challan from any branch of SBI or Union Bank of India (UBI). NRI applicants have the option to make the payment through demand draft must be made in favor of “THE REGISTRAR, IIST” payable at thiruvananthapuram, India. Applicants should send the demand draft at the address.

For UG Courses (B.Tech)-: applicants must be Indian citizen. General and OBC applicants should have born on or after 1st October 1993 whereas SC/ST/PwD studentsshould have born on or after 1st October 1988. Applicants must have cleared the 12thequivalent exam with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. General/OBC candidates must have qualified the exam with 75% aggregate and SC/ST & PwD applicants must have qualified the exam with 65% marks. On the basis of scores of the JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2018 examinations candidates will get the admission.
For PG Courses (M.Tech/MS):candidates should be Indian citizen.Theage limit is 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application. SC/ST & PwD applicants have given age relaxation. Candidates must have BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.S. or equivalent degree withminimum 60%.
