AIIMS Nursing 2018

AIIMS Nursing 2018 isan entrance exam that is organized for admission to B.Sc.& M.Sc nursing programs. All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) organizes the national level entrance exam. The test for B.Sc & M.Sc nursing is conducted every year. Thescore of candidates in the AIIMS nursing entrance exam will be considered for the admission in the affiliated institutions of AIIMS.

AIIMS Nursing Application form 2018

By visiting the website candidates can fill the form online. Students should ensure that the application form is filled correctly because no alterations will be allowed afterwards. But alterations in some fields like nationality, centre change, etc will bepermitted in the 1st week of April 2018. Students are required to submit the application form before the last date. Lastly, don’t forget to take printout of the filed-in application form for further references.

Application Fee:

General /OBC category applicants are required to pay Rs. 1000/-. Candidates of the SC/ST category have to pay fee of Rs. 800/-. Relaxation is provided to Orthopedic/Physically Handicapped (OPH) candidates. Application fee can be paid with the help of credit card/debit card/internet banking.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing:  Candidates should be a citizen of India. Applicants should have qualified 12th equivalent examination form recognized board with the subjects such as PCB and English. The age of the candidates must be 17 years as on 31st December 2018. Students who are still giving their final exams are allowed to apply. No male student can apply for this course.

B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic):

Candidates must be 12th pass or its equivalent examination.  Students are also required to have Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. Interested candidates should be registered as Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN), and Registered Midwife (RM) with State Nursing Council.

M.Sc. Nursing:Candidate should have obtained the degree in B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc Nursing (Post-Certificate/Post Basic/B.Sc Nursing. Candidates who belong to general and OBC category should have scored 60% marks. SC/ST must have 55% marks.

Pattern of AIIMS Nursing Exam

Candidates have to answer question in English. Students of M.Sc nursing and B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) will be given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the exam. B.Sc (Hons.) nursing students have to finish the exam in 2 hours. The multiple choice questions will be asked. One mark will be added for each right answer and for each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted, it means there will be negative marking.

Admit Card of AIIMS Nursing

Few days prior to the exam candidates can get their admit card. Admit card for M.Sc nursing will be available from the first week of June 2018. Candidatesof B.Sc (Hons.) and B.Sc (Post basic) nursing can get their admit card from the second week of May 2018.
